2. Limitation of Liability (The Platform Role) You acknowledge that VirtyStreet is not a party to any agreement entered into between a customer and a vendor. Therefore:
- Service Quality: VirtyStreet does not guarantee, endorse, or verify the quality, safety, or legality of the services offered by vendors.
- Pricing: All prices are set independently by the vendors. VirtyStreet does not handle or dictate service pricing.
- Disputes: Any disputes regarding service delivery or payment must be resolved directly between the customer and the vendor.
3. Zero Tolerance for Illegal or Harmful Activity To protect our community, VirtyStreet has a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Illegal Services: Any attempt to sell or provide illegal services, products, or prohibited items.
- Fraud: Dishonest behavior, misrepresentation of skills, or payment scams.
- Harassment: Any form of hate speech, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward users or vendors.
- Consequences: Violation of these rules will result in immediate account closure and a permanent ban without prior notice. VirtyStreet reserves the right to report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.
4. Shipping and Delivery For any physical items or tools related to services, VirtyStreet does not handle shipment. Any logistics, shipping costs, or delivery of physical goods are the sole responsibility of the vendor and the customer.
5. User Responsibility & Safety Customers are responsible for performing their own due diligence (checking reviews, asking for IDs) before hiring a vendor. Vendors are responsible for ensuring they have the correct licenses, permits, and insurance to perform their advertised services in their local jurisdiction.
6. Indemnification (Platform Protection) You agree to release, defend, and indemnify VirtyStreet from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the marketplace or any interactions with other users. You use VirtyStreet at your own risk.
